Family Hostel?
The idea arose when we spent a few days of vacation together with friends and their families in our group house (Relais de Dranse in Liddes). The children's eyes sparkled and Marin appealed to his mother, "Mom, I really want to come back here soon".
The mums and dads were also extremely relaxed, as the small group of children had entertained themselves very well.
In the Family Hostel you can meet other families with or without children. Together we go on excursions, play games and cook fine dishes. The St.Bernhard region offers countless possibilities for families.
You meet familiar and new faces.
You don't have to do anything and you can do a lot!

Cook together
In the Family Hostel we usually cook together. So far it has worked very well and together we have conjured up fantastic menus on the table. Whoever has the time and leisure helps in solidarity.
And: There are several restaurants in the village in case we don't feel like it.

Coworking
If someone wants to take their work with them or if mum / dad can only take a little vacation, there is also the possibility of setting up a workplace. The internet is definitely high-speed! But be careful: children screaming! Don't forget your headphones!
Daycare
We can share the tasks: Mommy or Daddy can do something different from time to time: hiking, climbing, dancing, ...

This costs 39 francs per person in summer and includes the following activities (children born in 2012 and later get the pass for free): La Fouly & Champex-Lac chairlift, scooter, high ropes course, Bourg-St. Pierre (the indoor swimming pool is right next to our hostel), pedal boat and stand-up paddle in Champex-Lac, artillery fortress, St. Bernard dog breeding, Durnand gorge, high alpine botanical garden and much more ...

If you don't have your own car, you can either limit yourself to the local area and use public transport (it's a 2-minute walk to the bus station with small children) or rent a car from us for CHF 100 per day.
